Mariarita de Luca, bioingegnere di formazione, ha conseguito il Dottorato in Ingegneria Matematica presso il Dipartimento di Matematica del Politecnico di Milano sviluppando e studiando modelli matematici applicati a problemi biologici. Negli anni successivi si è dedicata ad attività di ricerca nell’ambito delle grandi deformazioni di smart materials. Oltre all’esperienza di ricerca, ha sviluppato competenze nella gestione dei dati della ricerca e da Luglio 2023 lavora come Tecnologo di Ricerca presso l’Area Science Park di Trieste nel Laboratorio di Data Engineering dell’Istituto di Ricerca e Innovazione Tecnologica – RIT nell’ambito di una infrastruttura digitale per le nanoscienze e le nanotecnologie

Mariarita de Luca, with a master degree in bioengineering, obtained a PhD in Mathematical Engineering at the Department of Mathematics of the Polytechnic of Milan, developing and studying mathematical models applied to biological problems. In the following years she dedicated herself to research activities in the field of large deformations of smart materials. In addition to her research experience, she has developed skills in research data management and since July 2023 she has been working as a Research Technologist at the Area Science Park of Trieste in the Data Engineering Laboratory of the Institute for Research and Technological Innovation - RIT in context of a digital infrastructure for nanosciences and nanotechnologies.
