Roberto Della Marina, PhD, è un venture capitalist e Managing Partner di Obloo Ventures. Dal 2010 si occupa di trasferimento tecnologico e di investimenti early-stage nel Deep Tech. Roberto è il fondatore di Obloo Ventures, che gestisce Galaxia, il Polo Nazionale per il Trasferimento Tecnologico nell’Aerospazio, e di Venture Factory, che gestisce Vertis Venture 3 Tech Transfer, il primo fondo early-stage in Italia dedicato al trasferimento tecnologico. Con un background nella ricerca e nel management al CERN e in altre società, ha ricoperto ruoli importanti, tra cui quello di VP Business Development di Olivetti I-Jet e CEO del Cluster di Biomedicina Molecolare di Trieste. È stato VP di AREA Science Park e CEO di BIC Incubatori FVG. Roberto ha analizzato più di 6.500 operazioni, investendo in 40 società, ottenendo un ritorno di 3 volte sul denaro investito. E’ laureato con lode in Fisica e ha un PhD presso l’ETH di Zurigo, ed è stato coautore di oltre 100 articoli scientifici.

Roberto Della Marina, PhD, is a venture capitalist and Managing Partner of Obloo Ventures and Venture Factory in Italy. Since 2010 he focuses on tech transfer and early-stage investment in Deep Tech. Roberto is the founder of Obloo Ventures, which manages Galaxia, the Italian National Aerospace Technology Transfer Hub, and Venture Factory, which oversees the Vertis Venture 3 Tech Transfer Fund, the first early-stage fund in Italy dedicated to tech transfer.
With a background in research and management at CERN and other institutions, he held significant roles including VP of Business Development at Olivetti I-Jet and CEO of the Molecular Biomedicine Cluster in Trieste, Italy. He served as Deputy Chairman of AREA Science Park and was CEO of BIC Incubatori FVG. Roberto has screened over 6,500 deals, overseeing over 40 companies, achieving a 3x return on cash invested. He holds a Laurea cum laude in Physics and a Ph.D. from ETH Zürich, co-authoring over 100 scientific papers.
