Abstract
Fundamental physics in particle accelerators and medical physics share the common challenge of identifying, within vast amounts of data (whether particle tracks in detectors or medical images), details related to rare phenomena or organic anomalies. Artificial intelligence has proven, and continues to prove, to be an essential tool in supporting these efforts.
