Abstract
The extended time we spend nurturing our children is filled with content, interactions, and words. It is perhaps through these interactions that we invented language, storytelling, and the pursuit of knowledge. In the words exchanged with our children, we have cultivated the very essence of what it means to be human. This discussion will explore the "miracles of shared reading" for a child's development, the significance of storytelling and reading during childhood, and the relational importance of reading in early life. The session will be moderated by a pediatrician, underscoring that reading for children is both a matter of health and knowledge.
