Abstract
Paolo Giordano, the writer and physicist who won the Premio Strega in 2008 with "The Solitude of Prime Numbers," will headline the opening night of Trieste Next to discuss the relationship between literature and artificial intelligence. Winner of the Grand Prix Moebius for the use of artificial intelligence in service of society, Giordano will lead a reflection on how new technologies influence our lives and the need to rebuild the connection between science and society. What are the ethical and social implications of artificial intelligence? How can literature help us understand the new horizons of intelligence?
