Alessandro Baraldi è professore ordinario di Fisica Sperimentale della Materia e Applicazioni presso l’Università di Trieste e Collaboratore del Rettore alla Ricerca Scientifica e Dottorati. E’ responsabile del Nanoscale Materials Laboratory presso Elettra – Sincrotrone Trieste dove coordina l’attività di ricerca del suo gruppo universitario incentrata nello studio delle proprietà fisiche e chimiche dei materiali sulla scala sub-nanometrica, dai materiali due-dimensionali ai cluster atomici con esatta nuclearità.

Alessandro Baraldi is a full professor of Experimental Physics of Matter and Applications at the University of Trieste and Deputy-Rector for Scientific Research and Doctorates. He is the head of the Nanoscale Materials Laboratory at Elettra – Sincrotrone Trieste, where he coordinates the research activities of his university group focused on studying the physical and chemical properties of materials on the sub-nanometric scale, ranging from two-dimensional materials to atomic clusters with exact nuclearity.
