Elena Bettinelli è ricercatrice in Sociologia dei processi culturali e comunicativi all’Università di Trieste. Ha analizzato le dinamiche relative al consumo nelle società industrializzate, rivolgendo specifica attenzione al rapporto fra corpo e sensorialità. Attualmente il suo campo di studi considera gli emergenti modelli culturali e i cambiamenti della relazione individuo/società a questi riferibili.

Elena Bettinelli is a researcher in Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the University of Trieste. She analyzed the dynamics of consumption in industrialized societies, paying specific attention to the relationship between body and sensoriality. Currently her field of study considers the emerging cultural models and the changes in the individual/society relation to these attributable.
