Fabio Catalano

researcher CERN, member ALICE Collaboration

Fabio Catalano is currently a Research Fellow at CERN and holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Politecnico di Torino. He has been an active member of the ALICE experiment, one of CERN’s major experiments, since 2018. Fabio's research specializes in applying machine-learning tools to high-energy physics data analysis, particularly for measuring hadrons containing charm and beauty quarks. He serves as the coordinator of the ALICE Machine Learning Group and represents the ALICE Collaboration in the coordination of the Inter-experimental Machine Learning Working Group at CERN.
