Franco Zanini

Franco Zanini si è laureato in Fisica presso l’Università di Trieste, e si è specializzato in Executive Data Science alla Johns Hopkins University e in Vulcanologia presso la Ludwig Maximilians Universität di Monaco. É stato ricercatore presso l’Università del Wisconsin prima di rientrare a Elettra, dove si occupa di analisi di beni culturali. Insegna Chimica dei Beni Culturali presso la Scuola di Specializzazione in Archeologia dell’Università di Trieste, dove ne dirige anche la rivista scientifica.

Franco Zanini graduated in Physics from the University of Trieste, and specialized in Executive Data Science at Johns Hopkins University and in Volcanology at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. He was a researcher at the University of Wisconsin before returning to Elettra, where his main activity is cultural asset analysis. He teaches Chemistry of Cultural Heritage at the Specialization School in Archaeology at the University of Trieste, where he is also the director of the scientific journal.
