Susanna Zaccarin è professoressa ordinaria di Statistica Sociale all’Università di Trieste, dove insegna Tecniche di indagine statistica, Statistical analysis of social networks e Causal Inference. Già direttrice del Dipartimento di Scienze Economiche, Aziendali, Matematiche e Statistiche (DEAMS) e componente del Gruppo Eurostat sull’uso di nuove fonti di dati, è componente del Consiglio direttivo della Società Italiana di Statistica (SIS). È esperta di metodi per la raccolta e analisi dei dati. Si occupa di social network analysis e analisi statistica di dati relazionali.

Susanna Zaccarin is Full Professor of Social Statistics at the University of Trieste. She teaches Survey Methods, Statistical analysis of social networks, and Causal Inference. Former head of the Department of Economics, Business, Mathematics, and Statistics (DEAMS) and member of the Eurostat Group on the use of new data sources, she is on the Board of the Italian Statistical Society (SIS). She is an expert in data collection and statistical analysis. Her research interests cover also social network analysis and statistical analysis of relational data.
