Meticulously packed within the nucleus of our cells is DNA, the instruction manual that explains why we are the way we are and how we should function. However, each of us has a slightly different manual from everyone else, which is why every individual is unique. But how similar and how different are we from one another? And since DNA is a fundamental component of all living species, without exception, how similar are we, say, to a banana?
